FirstLink answers the 211 helpline, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and communicates via the text line 898-211. FirstLink provides these services across the entire state of North Dakota and parts of Minnesota. Dial 2-1-1 or text your zip code to 898-211 from anywhere in our service area for confidential help and support

FirstLink has a directory of 5,500 services that your community members can be linked to for financial and behavioral health support. FirstLink can connect them to the service they need, whether that is to k connec find help to pay rent, electricity bills, food, and/ or telehealth. If you received this letter, your agency is listed in FirstLink's directory. If you find that your community has a wonderful resource that is not listed, let us know. FirstLink answers the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for those with a 701 and some 218 area codes. If you are thinking of suicide, worried about a student, family, or friend, you can dial 800-273-8255 to reach a call specialist to help gain hope, link to services, and develop a safety plan.
