Key Responsibilities Include:

• General summer cleaning of school facilities

• Yard maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and landscaping tasks

• Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance projects

• Moving furniture and classroom materials as needed

• Other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Hettinger Public School is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Rural Bus Driver for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a vital position that helps ensure our students have safe and reliable transportation to and from school.

Position Details:

• Start Date: August 2025

• Schedule: Morning and afternoon routes on school days

• Route: Rural pickup and drop-off (specific route to be determined)

• Compensation: Competitive wage

INow Hiring: Activity Bus Driver
Location: Hettinger Public School
Position: Activity Bus Driver (All School Activities – 2025–2026 School Year)
Start Date: August 2025

Hettinger Public School is accepting applications for a reliable and flexible Activity Bus Driver to transport students and staff to and from school-sponsored events, including athletic competitions, field trips, and extracurricular activities, during the 2025–2026 school year.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school bus and passenger endorsements

• Must pass a background check and drug screening

• Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism

• Availability to drive evenings and occasional weekends

• Prior bus driving experience preferred but not required 

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students and staff to scheduled events across the region

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Communicate effectively with coaches, staff, and administration

• Ensure student safety and appropriate behavior while in transit

• Maintain accurate records of travel and mileage as required

Schedule & Compensation:

• Variable hours based on scheduled events and activities

• Competitive  wages starting at $14.50 an hour
